No wonder Michael Gove is calling for the Leveson Inquiry to be stopped, claiming it’s unnecessary. Of course, Gove worked for The Times newspaper for 10 years and is still slavishly loyal to Rupert Murdoch.

No one should doubt that the Tory Party still support the Murdoch mafia and will need their support to ensure re-election in 2015 or sooner.

But more trouble could be in store for Murdoch and the Sunday Times if whistleblower David Connett comes forward to blow the whistle on what he knows about serious fraud and criminal activities at the so-called ‘paper of record’.

Murdoch will be desperate to ensure the now impotent paper of record does not get a criminal record and the same is true of the sleaze-ridden Tory Party.

At his employment tribunal in April 2006, Connett spoke of ‘deniable payments’ to ‘deniable operators’ and a trade in stolen goods. The former is tantamount to serious fraud, particularly when coupled with operating behind illegal front companies.

The Insight Team, led by Reuters ‘journalist’ Stephen Grey, ran an organised criminal enterprise for several years. When Connett blew the whistle on some of the corruption, Murdoch closed down Insight but Grey had already jumped ship.

His underling Edin Hamzic fled to South America instead of his native Bosnia. His “friends at the Met” were of no use to him anymore. But not one Sunday Times ‘journalist’ was arrested and questioned by “our friends at the Met.”

On 19 April 2002, I was booked in at the Premier Inn on Dukes Road in London, ostensibly by Insight at the Sunday Times. But in real terms, as I discovered when the receptionist rumbled the scam; the booking was actually made by the ‘Natural Travel Company’… a Sunday Times front company.

I demanded an explanation from Hamzic and he promised one but when I arrived at Wapping later, he refused to meet me and sent Will Iredale and Jack Grimston in his place. Grey was en route to Paris with his girlfriend for the weekend. The rats had jumped the sinking ship.

Hamzic bragged on the telephone that they [Sunday Times] had several front companies to shield the Sunday Times from detection on “deniable operations”. He claimed it was ‘legal’…

In fact, setting up front companies to protect the real identity of the parent company, particularly when engaged in criminal activity, is serious fraud and should be investigated by the Serious Fraud Office.

The onus now rests on David Connett to come forward and confess to the crimes he witnessed at the Sunday Times. The booking at the Premier Inn was made by a secretary in the office of the newspaper. Therefore financial records will exist.

The police have no excuse for not investigating. Emails and other evidence have been retrieved even after they were destroyed. It’ s all about inclination and Theresa May, Gove and Cameron have no such inclination.

If Connett does not come forward now to blow the whistle, his ‘credibility’ as a journalist will be dead and buried. The Independent might not mind. After all, they offered Johann Hari his job back after he was exposed as a serial liar.

Journalism cleaning up its act? The newspaper industry is about as clean as a broken down sewerage works, with or without Leveson.

Martin Brunt gave the game away on Sky News after the lastest round of Bribegate arrests, when he spoke of Murdoch offering up “a few sacrificial scalps” to appease the public. We have not seen a full investigation of News International corruption let alone the rest of the press.

And a damning point is the business of creating front companies. Trainee journalists are not taught how to create illegal front companies. Where did the Sunday Times acquire the knowledge, from their “friends at the Met” or payroll assets in British Intelligence?

You can be certain the ‘police’ will not want to find out… too close for comfort, too close to the truth!

On the day Sunday Times journalist Marie Colvin was killed in Syria doing serious journalism, her colleagues should hang their heads in shame. The sight of John Witherow on Sky News waffling sympathy for his slain colleague is too much to tolerate. He was fully aware of the criminal enterprise of his underlings.

If David Connett has an ounce of morality left, he should come forward and blow the whistle on corruption at the Sunday Times. Decent journalists like Marie Colvin deserve nothing less.

Channel 4 want Connett to cooperate with a documentary exposing corruption at the Sunday Times. Will cowardice, fear and personal interest get the better of him?

Just when Rupert Murdoch thought he had stage-managed a ‘solution’ to corruption at News International, a new front has opened up on his flanks.

The Insight Team of The Sunday Times was closed down by Murdoch in 2006 for dealing in the “black arts”. In April the same year, David Connett took the ST to an employment tribunal and won £30K in damages.

At the tribunal it emerged that Insight had been buying stolen property, making deniable payments to freelance contributors, running deniable operations and committing criminal offences with impunity.

Of course, committing criminal offences with impunity was stock in trade at News International. Given their payroll assets in the Met Police and British Intelligence, it comes as no surprise. Not to mention the MoD and Civil ‘Service’.

The Sunday Times was embroiled in a corruption scandal years before Hackgate and Bribegate erupted into the public domain. But no newspaper was prepared to investigate the crime wave at the ST lest the spotlight be shone on their own illegal and unethical activities.

The whole cesspit was swept under the carpet in the same manner that Operation Motorman was ignored by the entire media until Hackgate and Leveson.

When I worked with the Insight Team in April 2002, they were using illegal front companies to conceal their activities. The full story is exposed in my book Counter Spy by Simon Tomlin on Amazon.

In April 2006, I broached the matter of illegal front companies with Edin Hamzic of the ST. He had the temerity to threaten me with “our friends at the Met.”

I ignored the petulant child and pressed on with the investigation. I contacted the Guardian but they were not interested! This from the ‘campaigning’ newspaper that claims to be on a crusade to clean up journalism lol. Did the Guardian ever mention Operation Motorman until Hackgate?

But Nick Scott Plummer at Channel 4 has made attempts recently to persuade David Connett to speak on record in a new documentary exposing widespread corruption at The Sunday Times.

If Connett goes piece to camera and dishes the dirt on the ST, it is difficult to imagine how arrests could not follow. But Connett, now at the Independent, has been quiet on the corruption scandal since 2006. Was his employment tribunal simply about getting money from the Murdoch mafia and keeping his mouth shut about everything else?

If Connett refuses to cooperate with Channel 4, people will rightly ask what he is concealing and why?

There is no doubt that there is a great deal more corruption at News International to be exposed. BBC Panorama are preparing another documentary on NI corruption, likely to coincide with Ian Hurst’s next appearance at Leveson.

Either way, John Witherow thought his corruption scandal at the ST was dead and buried but ghosts have a nasty habit of coming back from the dead to haunt the prime malefactors.

Former Insight editor Stephen Grey was recently taken on by Reuters. Can he survive if Fraudgate engulfs the ST? Most of the criminal activities at Insight took place on his watch. Edin Hamzic fled to South America after Insight was closed down for good in April 2006.

Rupert Murdoch, recently launched the Sun on Sunday to deflect attention from the growing Bribegate scandal. But now Fraudgate is erupting and what will News Corp make of another corruption scandal? Close down News International completely or sell off its tainted assets?

Last week Michael Wolff told Sky News that “Rupert Murdoch is locked in a life and death struggle.”

The Bribegate scandal (a term hated by The Sun newspaper) has now leapfrogged Hackgate but came to prominence on the back of the phone hacking debacle.

The Met are fixated on The Sun newspaper and News International at large. But their preoccupation has been tagged a “witch-hunt” and indeed it will be if the police do not widen the ambit to other newspapers.

In the phone hacking scandal it is clear the police do not want to investigate other rags involved in the invasion of privacy trade. The Met have thrown all their resources into the attack on Wapping. Why?

News International caused the Met more embarrassment than connection with any other media organisation. Concentrating on NI creates the impression that something is being done to clean up the Met.

Making a few arrests is not a serious attempt at eradicating corruption, it is mere tinkering with the core problem for the sake of public relations. “Draining the swamp” is not peculiar to The Sun either, it’s an Establishment issue full stop.

No wonder staff at The Sun feel there is a “witch-hunt” going on; they know only too well how deep the corruption is spread across the press and their interdependent Establishment puppets.

If the Met intend to expand the scope of Bribegate to other newspapers and their paid public officials or “sources”; the “witch-hunt” tag will become redundant in time.

But the omens are not good. Have the Met widened the Hackgate ‘investigation’ beyond Wapping? Have they shown any interest in investigating the evidence of serial phone and computer hacking at other newspapers? No.

The objective of the Met is to settle scores with News International and pin the blame for Hackgate and Bribegate solely on Wapping and a handful of rogue coppers. A neatly packaged ‘solution’ to a corruption scandal. Go back to sleep Joe Public and let bobby go about his shady business of burying the majority of Bribegate corruption… in the ‘public interest’.

What Bribegate has brought to the fore is the fact that corruption and dishonesty is endemic in public ‘service’ in Britain. The police and their ridiculed IPCC whitewash brigade are about as clean as a box of bad eggs. The stench is overpowering across the country.

If Bribegate is not widened beyond Wapping to other newspapers, there is no chance of the Met recovering any sense of credibility with the public, Catch 22.

The current ‘relationship’ between the police and public is one of mutual suspicion and loathing. The trust has evaporated in a haze of sleaze and the police have only themselves to blame. No one forced them to take bribes, cover-up phone hacking or fudge the ‘cash for honours’ investigation…

When the Olympics fanfare has gone, a winter of discontent will set in, most likely followed by a Summer 2013 of extensive rioting. If this happens, blame the Met, IPCC and the Home Office. The public are not to blame.

They are all suffering from clinical self-delusion and collective amnesia over the August 2011 riots and their role in provoking the unprecedented unrest. Nothing to do with the Hackgate scandal at all they cry in unison.

There is one last chance for the Establishment to house-clean on an industrial scale before public relations break down into a constant battlefield on the streets of towns and cities across Britain.

The omens for that are not good either. The government and police are no more interested in listening to the public than under the New Labour regime. Throw the Eurozone disaster into the mix, and the situation is a tinderkeg waiting for a spark…

Instead their siege mentality manifests with plans to arm a largely corrupt police ‘service’ with a dazzling array of new weapons to use when the public backlash erupts. Together they are expanding the surveillance state the Tories ‘promised’ to dismantle. Theirs is a State at war, with the public.

Eradicating corruption? On the contrary, they are preparing for a time when the public can no longer tolerate the corruption and greed epidemic. My own view is that the rotten Establishment have no real interest in genuine reform.

We are on a rollercoaster, where it leads no one knows but Bribegate has the potential now to heal Broken Britain or tear the country to pieces….

Sun journalists arrested in Bribegate scandal

Rupert Murdoch flew into London today to clear up the apparent “mess” at The Sun.

But the Bribegate scandal is nothing new to the old mafia boss because News Corp handed the ‘evidence’ to the Met Police with which to make a string of arrests.

It is therefore pure theatre to talk of “mess” in the context of The Sun. Just a week ago Martin Brunt on Sky News let slip that the arrests were part of a policy of offering the public “a few sacrificial scalps.”

It is only right to label the arrests as theatre for public consumption. The idea, to create a false flag operation, that “something is being.done.” And behind the scenes civil war and backstabbing is rife at News International.

Of course something is being done: News Corp are cooperating with the police at the highest level. But this is no real investigation of the type leaving no stone unturned. It’s an agreement between the police and the Murdoch mafia. In simple terms, it’s under control.

The deal has already been made and that entails keeping The Sun open. How that disgraced ‘newspaper’ can have any credibility after Bribegate is beyond belief. Perhaps best to ask the “8 million ‘readers’ a day” as Dominic Mohan put it at Leveson.

“8 million ‘readers’ a day” is staggering not just in terms of numbers but after the tidal wave of crime involved, that so many ‘readers’ continue to buy the soft pornographic rag… Page3 perhaps?

For those who think The Sun is ‘right wing’, think again. The Sun is an economic entity in the business of making money and spewing forth whatever propaganda suits the current agenda.

If Arthur Scargill had been prepared to do Murdoch’s bidding, he would have been backed by the same Sun that put New Labour in power between 1997 and 2010. When Brown proved to be unsafe, a new puppet was backed in the shape of Cameron.

The Sun is not a ‘right wing’ rag. It’s certainly a rag but will back anyone in the centre, including Blair and Campbell who took New Labour to the sterile centre ground to win over Middle England.

Politically, The Sun is populist and opportunist and any tame politician in the centre will do. And of course, the LibLabCon Party has become one on all the central issues. Right and Left polarity is merely fancy packaging to con the public.

The Sun is Rupert Murdoch’s flagship in the UK. Much more so than Sky News. If Murdoch loses The Sun by whatever means his UK operation is finished. He knows this and understands if the flagship is sunk, The Times and Sunday Times go down with it…

How could News Corp retain control of Sky News in such circumstances and maintain any credible presence in the UK? That’s why Murdoch will not sink his flagship unless there is a barrage of protest to sink it.

The barrage has already begun on Twitter. I was told by a source that The Sun “hate the Bribegate hashtag you’re using” and so I redoubled my efforts. On 12 February, I used the #Bribegate hashtag in a tweet about James Murdoch and a hacking email. The source article was in the New York Times.

My tweet was ranked a ‘top tweet’ within 24 hours. The damage was done and after another Twitter storm yesterday, #Bribegate is now in common parlance on Twitter and appears to be spreading…

We should be in no doubt that sinking The Sun flagship will lead to the end of the Murdoch mafia in the UK. No politician or newspaper can come to Murdoch’s defence without provoking a public backlash… suicide in real terms.

The Sun and News Corp fleet in the UK has been stripped of its allies. Targeting The Sun will bring just the type of end game most people in the UK want…

I suggest we triple our efforts to sink The Sun. The alternative is allowing Murdoch to call the shots in the ‘investigation’ of his criminal empire. It was Murdoch calling the shots that led to Hackgate and Bribegate in the first place.

Does anyone doubt this odious mafia boss needs to be driven out of the UK ad infinitum….

“This is a victory for freedom of speech and the small man” Ian Puddick proclaimed after his legal ‘victory’ in June 2011.

According to Puddick… David had beaten Goliath in a rematch at Horseferry Road. Not David at all in fact but rather Michael Wolkind QC.

Without the expertise and crafty cross-examination of Wolkind, there is little doubt Puddick would have been convicted. Did he harass his nemesis Tim Haynes?

Puddick repeatedly contacted the Haynes’, even when they had asked him not to. The Freedom from Harassment Act states that it is an offence to contact someone if they have asked you not to. Two such incidents thereafter becomes harassment.

Puddick certainly did harass the Haynes’ even after they had asked him not to. One can understand the man’s fury at discovering an affair between his wife and Tim Haynes. He felt betrayed and rightly so and decided to hit back having been hurt quite deeply.

These are entirely normal human reactions to stress and emotional turmoil. Someone should have taken pity on him. The police should simply have cautioned the man and shown some understanding for his plight.

His champagne guzzling wife had been conducting an affair behind his back for years. Leena had a taste for the high life and Tim Haynes paid for it, in more ways than one. An escort girl might have been cheaper…

Puddick claims he was subjected to a campaign of harassment and threats by the City of London Police and Kroll aka the ‘Wall Street CIA’.

There is little doubt they went overboard in their pursuit of a “small man”. Heavy-handed tactics par excellence was completely unnecessary.

When Puddick set up his website police expenses; the campaign against him escalated and he in turn hit back embarrassing the elite into action against him.

The outpouring of pity and sympathy for the “small man” was bringing him public support. He milked it for all it was worth and continued his ‘campaign’ emboldened.

I noticed his campaign on Facebook. I have been investigating and exposing police corruption for years. His allegations against the police sparked my interest further.

Having spoken to him on the telephone several times, I formed the impression that Puddick was an extremely naive man regarding the Establishment.

He assured me he was not anti-Establishment and just out to tell the truth. It had not occured to him that the rotten Establishment have no tolerance for people who dare to expose their crimes, lies and replete dirty tricks. It was like dealing with a child.

I asked how he could not be anti-Establishment after being given a taste of their version of ‘freedom of speech’ and ‘democracy’? “I’m just a plumber. Never voted in my life. I’m not political at all.”

Campaigning with placards directly opposite Parliament not political? The man was either self-deluded or a liar.

His phone calls increased as the trial date loomed closer. The stress of his ‘apolitical’ campaign was taking its toll, understandably, given the fact it was political.

I gave him well-intentioned advice on para-politics, the police and most of all the mantraps of the mainstream media, particularly the journo-crooks at ‘work’ in the press.

Isla Reid - Fantasist

After his case concluded Puddick was busy touting the press who had perceived his value as a “useful idiot” in the public relations game. They quickly dropped the “cuckold case” smear and reinvented Puddick as a ‘free speech’ campaigner in the space of 48 hours. It was becoming the usual media panto’…

I was contacted by Isla Reid through Facebook and we agreed the Puddick case had nothing to do with ‘free speech’ and was in fact “all about Ian” as I put it. She replied: “Yeah, that’s what I thought.”

Puddick had been asked to distance himself from me if he wanted press coverage. Arriving at the common denominator every time “all about Ian,” he did as he was asked. In a second, the treacherous rodent dropped me for five minutes of fame and a few quid.

A source at The Sun told me all about it. I put it to Puddick but he did not reply and would not take my calls. Traitor and coward but I was not surprised. I have quite literally seen it all before where it comes to human beings, money and power corrupts.

Isla Reid came on keen offering me paid work as a consolation prize. Having used Puddick as her point of introduction, I had little doubt she was playing games.

She contacted me on Skype in a video call – video calling deactivated at my end – and she came through clearly offering me £500 to write all the literature for her website and ‘campaign’ leaflets.

Apparently, she was starting a charity to “remember murder victims forgotten by the media.” Her colleague Marcus Van Willing (not a porn star) would fund the project. But there was a catch, as always, we had to meet in London.

We continued the call and Reid came across as a female Walter Mitty… She claimed to have worked as an MI5 officer for six months until they made her job description “reduntant”. It was laughable. Why would MI5 teach a recruit the tricks of the trade and then throw them on the dole queue?

Before that Reid claimed to have served in the Royal Navy but had to leave when she fell pregnant. Her next claim was that she was now a trainee with the British Transport Police and had access to the Police National Computer…

The distinct whiff of live bait was overwhelming. Several times she dropped the hint of having access to the PNC. I was not biting and she finished the phising expedition with “it’s crazy they allow trainees to have access to the PNC.”

All the keywords had been used. ‘MI5′, ‘police’, ‘Royal Navy’ and ‘PNC’. And she claimed to live in Buckinghamshire no less; I have extensive ancestral connections in the county. I agreed to meet her on 27 June 2011 at 11.00 hrs outside Euston Tube Station.

I was determined to draw her poison like puss from a wound. She was not genuine but I had to find out the exact nature of her transparent game.

Unsurprisingly, Reid failed to show. I called her mobile, no answer, several times. I withheld my number, waited 5 minutes and called again; she answered straight away, obviously expecting a call from someone else…

“Simon, oh, er, sorry, I got held up by a bomb scare this morning on the Beaconsfield to Marylebone line. I’m on the platform, still waiting for a train to London.”

Walter Mitty had nothing on this girl. She promised to meet at 12.15 hrs at Marylebone. Would I go across there and meet her? I agreed. I would ask the staff there at Chiltern Railways if there had been a “bomb scare” on the line…

I made off for Tottenham Court Road to do some window shopping and to ascertain if I’d picked up any foot surveillance. Satisfied everything was clear, I set off on foot for Marylebone.

Arriving there at 12.03 hrs, I was greeted with a train arriving from Beaconsfield. No bomb scare at all. I asked the staff at Chiltern Railways and they confirmed no bomb scare on the line that morning. I also checked the local and national news wires, nothing.

Walter Reid as it were had indeed been playing a very dangerous game. Her mobile had also gone dark. I decided to stick around for a while, see what happened. I changed location several times in 30 minutes. Not a thing, not even a routine police patrol in sight.

It was a very quiet, perhaps too quiet day. It reminded me of the incident on Sussex Gardens in April 2006. The incident is covered in my book Counter Spy…

The next day, after not hearing from him since the trial began, Puddick was back on the blower. We discussed Reid and the incident the previous day. He denied knowing her but alleged she was “working for Kroll”… All very neat and tidy.

I telephoned Kroll, blagging, pretending to be an old friend and could I speak to Isla Reid. The switchboard operator confirmed no Isla Reid worked at any Kroll office in the UK. So much for Puddick’s latest conspiracy theory.

Soon afterwards, I was contacted by Diane Taylor in Northern Ireland. She later appeared on Edge TV with Puddick and whilst she said he was a “serial fuckin’ liar, I can’t fall out wi him, because I need him to get my own story out
.”

Puddick had recruited another female pawn. Taylor said he was “rude, self-obsessed and arrogant wi me. No fuckin’ way was I tolerating that and told him so, so I did.” But Taylor needed Puddick to promote her own story… To hell with principles.

She explained how Puddick tells everyone he’s reunited with his errant wife but told Taylor they were actually living separate lives in the same property and planning to divorce. Yet more lies or just tyring to get into her knickers.

Puddick tells his supporters he did not get a penny from the press for his stories but confided in me he’d been paid by the Daily Mail. Yet more lies and contraindications from the man who scored a victory for “freedom of speech and the small man.”

He claims a statement from the UK director of Kroll confirms that organisation use “untraceable phones” to contact people. Puddick claims the phones are used by “drug dealers and terrorists.” How would he know this… does the plumber deal with terrorists and drug dealers on a regular basis?

In fact the statement to the police mentions ‘a sterile payg mobile phone’. There is no mention of “untraceable phones” at all. The man has no idea what he’s talking about so he concocts allegations.

This also calls into question a bug Puddick claims was planted in his home by Kroll operatives. A 20-year-old antique no less. Would the ‘Wall Street CIA’ use such backward technology? I very much doubt it! In fact I doubt everything Puddick says.

Recently, I broke off contact with Caroline Knight who had appeared with Puddick on Edge TV in Buckinghamshire. “He’s being very friendly to me” said Knight before I kicked her into touch as a security measure.

Then a week ago, another female appeared on the scene. Tabitha Browne (pictured above) who wanted to know if I was an “MI5 agent” no less. Another Puddick supporter following each other on Twitter and Facebook.

Last night, the silly little girl brought matters to a head on Twitter wanting to know why I was not prepared to lick Puddick’s arse and swallow his bullshit? Is the foregoing not enough? So be it, I started, so I’ll finish.

Browne claimed to be obsessed with Ebury Street in Pimlico, London. Her obsession came from ‘The Pimlico Factor’ chapter in my book Counter Spy. Checking the twitterfeed for Browne and Puddick, I noted his tweet to her that read ‘we are doing a job on Ebury Street at the moment. Peculiar and peculiar.’

Browne was after starting a fight on Twitter between Puddick and me. Good thing for Puddick it’s only a Twitter spat… The fact they were tweeting one another openly whilst Browne sent me DMs in secret sort of gave the game away.

The spat erupted across Twitter and Puddick got a beating, just as he would in real time if he made the mistake of looking for a fight with me.

The measure of the ‘man’ is to be found in his use and abuse of women to do his dirty work. Too much of a coward to do it himself! Why did his wife have an affair by the way?

On Edge TV on New Year’s Eve, Puddick waffled on about police corruption. Were the police corrupt when they arrested him with a can outlawed pepper spray in his van? Perhaps they planted it on him lol…

“Police corruption is like looking for a good apple in a barrell full of bad apples,” Puddick explained, using the words of his lawyer Michael Wolkind QC and agreed with him. Edge TV lapped it up.

I watched the show on the advice of Caroline Knight, who claims her grandfather was an “MI5 officer in WWII. Another one of Puddick’s stooges and that MI5 and Buckinghamshire connection again…

Two weeks later on Twitter, another story emerged. This time Puddick had changed his tune on police corruption. The problem was now just a handful of crooked cops. The “looking for a good apple in a barrell full of bad apples” was dropped. Perhaps he found a new one and a real barrell of laughs it is.

Puddick changes tune with the frequency of an inexperienced TV tuner. Indeed, he promises a groundbreaking Channel 4 documentary soon on Operation Bohan and police corruption. Should be an entertaining comedy if the past is anything to go by.

The rise of the “useful idiot” is now complete and the media have found another toy to tune to their frequency… “All about Ian.”

Puddick a serious socio-political campaigner and reformer?

A couple of weeks ago he embraced Michael Portillo for a photoshoot outside Parliament… “He’s a great guy” Puddick drooled over the odious creep.

Take Puddick for what he is, an Establishment man by his own confession. He craves the approval of the Establishment and drools over Establishment crooks and their media puppets. A reformer?

At his trial Michael Wolkind QC said the case was about “defending the right to shout LIAR in a crowded chat room.”

And here I am doing just that in the public interest….

The Insider by Piers Morgan is more than his magnum opus on the press, it’s a damning indictment a wiser man would never have put into print.

The objective of this piece is the study of Morgan’s revelations about the press that have come back to haunt him as a result of Hackgate and the Leveson inquiry.

Had Louise Mensch MP done her job properly last year and studied the text in depth, she would not have handed Morgan an undeserved apology.

The following list could almost have been read to Morgan by the ghost of Christmas past…

Monday, 24 January 2000, pages 250-1:

‘Had lunch with the boss of MI5 today, Stephen Lander, at his HQ on the Embankment. I knew from his cuttings that he was one of the key intelligence figures in successfully foiling a string of IRA attacks in recent years, which is why he’s now got the job. He was very matter-of-fact about what his organisation does.

“Look, forget all the myths and James Bond tales. We are a disciplined intelligence agency, and our job is not to go around assassinating people or tapping everyone’s phones illegally. Our main job is to find out what bad people are up to and prevent them doing it.”

I asked who the biggest threat to Britain was. “France,” he replied, to my astonishment.

“They have some very dangerous terrorists, mainly of Algerian descent, and given the proximity to our border they represent a very serious and present danger. But there are many other terrorist organisations out there, and we have to keep tabs on all of them.”

“Do you keep tabs on people like me, then?”

He laughed. “Piers, I could read all of your emails this afternoon if I wanted to.”

I think he was joking, I hope he was! I felt a bit safer after lunch than I had before, knowing someone like him is running MI5.’

Morgan’s child-like deference to Lander is nauseating. Morgan is either grovelling to the powerful, or intimidating those less powerful. There is no middle ground with the lead clown of the CNN roadshow.

But what Morgan failed to tell us in his book was the fact that his underling Oonagh Blackman had already developed “supervisory sources” at MI5 and the Met Police, who ‘supervised’ her output. Assisted journalism, a cancer that lead to the manifest symptoms of Operation Motorman and the Hackgate scandal.

But Morgan’s meeting with the DG of MI5 is an important confession and one that destroys other lies pushed by the press. Namely, Peter Hill, former editor of the Daily Express, who told me in 2003 that newspaper editors have no connection with MI5 and MI6.

It transpires that all newspaper editors are invited to meet the heads of 5 and 6. The objective? Spooks needing to get the press on side… assisted journalism or as MI6 put it ‘Information Operations’ or I/Ops for short.

Morgan would later tell Keith Allen making the Unlawful Killing documentary – banned in Britain – that Diana was murdered, with the assistance of British Intelligence. The same spooks he said made him feel much safer knowing they were running the country.

And Morgan’s other face, as the self-satisfied bully manipulating powerless celebrities comes out a few pages later and landed him in a phone hacking mire of his own making…

Monday, 19 April 2000, page 282:

‘I got back to the office to learn that Kate Winslet, having indicated she would come to our Pride of Britain awards tomorrow, is now saying she can’t. Someone had got hold of her mobile phone number – I never like to ask how – so I rang her.

‘A voice answered and sounded a bit like Kate, but said she wasn’t and she would take a message. “OK, well this is Piers Morgan from the Mirror and I’d like to talk to her about Pride of Britain.” I was sure it was her.

‘Half an hour later, Kerrie said, “Kate Winslet’s on the phone.”

“Hello,” she said, sounding a bit taken aback. “How did you get my number, I’ve only just changed it. You’ve got to tell me, please. I am so worried now; if the press get my number, then I have to change it.”

“Relax Kate, I won’t be giving it to anyone. I thought it was you when I called before, actually.”

“No, it was my assistant.”

“You sure?”

“Well, fairly sure, yes, she’s black.”

The power tripping Morgan drips delight at having obtained Winslet’s number and then hides behind the “protecting a source” ruse employed by all journo-crooks in a tight corner.

Cyber-warfare a vital component of growing rebellion

Anonymous, dismissed as “little gits” in the FBI/Scotland Yard telephone intercept, are in fact a vital component of organised rebellion against jaded ‘authority’.

As the Ocupy movement concentrates on the street protest against the failure and inequality of capitalism, Anonymous target the cyber-streets…

Both strands of the campaign are equally important. A two-pronged protest movement is now rocking America and it will grow.

Anonymous are demonstrating just how vulnerable government agencies and big business are in the cyber-age. This is not virtual reality but real warfare being waged by people with a genuine belief system.

Ultimately, Anonymous are teaching the power brokers a richly deserved lesson as they attempt to ‘regulate’ or rather control the internet.

The rotten Old Order and their police and spook puppets are now switched on to the threat to their crumbling status quo.

They attempt to dismiss Anonymous as nerds and “little gits” but behind the scenes are working frantically to defeat the threat. The “little git” backlash against ‘authority’ is causing the Old Order sleepless nights… There are many more to come.

Anonymous are not ‘cyber-terrorists’ causing a nuisance. They are fighting back against control, censorship and regulation. They are proving that many people are not prepared to roll over and get shafted by the system.

Control of the internet is a disaster waiting to happen… Arab Spring et al.

People have now grown use to being able to express themselves freely on the net. Regulation is simply trying to control the horse after it has finished and won the race. There’s no putting the horse back in the stable to ensure it comes in third to suit the status quo.

Attempting to regulate the internet and smash the protest movement will just cause a greater backlash. The Great Rebellion began in 2011 and it will grow in fervour and determination.

If the world economy sinks into a second Great Depression, there will be riots, uprisings and conflict across the West. These are the dying days of the Old Order and a new unstoppable force is rising!

Embrace Anonymous because in essence their campaign is an expression of a desire to be free. The human spirit cannot be controlled or regulated.

Manstein said “those who forget the past are condemned to relive it.” The Old Order have not learned the lesson handed down by history and are making the same mistakes.

As for breaking the ‘law’, which Old Order cronies do with impunity, no movement in history would have succeeded to overthrow tyranny without breaking the ‘law’.

The ‘law’ is the first and last refuge of the scoundrel… “No lawyer will ever go to heaven while there is room for one more in Hell.”

Talk ‘law’ to the Libyan rebels or the Syrians being massacred in Homs. The Suffragette movement in Britain employed the mantra “we break laws to make laws”…

The Hackgate scandal has finally spread to The Sun and The Times and The Guardian ‘newspaper’ seems delighted. But the self-satisfaction disappears when the matter of The Sunday Times is broached.

The employment tribunal of David Connett in 2006 was covered by The Guardian but since then barely a verso has emerged from the lefties bible. What was so important about Connett’s case?

The case entailed a plethora of criminal activities by the Insight Team of The Sunday Times. It was revealed how the ST made deniable payments to “deniable operators” working on deniable operations. They purchased stolen goods and used the “black arts” to conceal their activities.

No, this is not a deleted scene from a James Bond movie, it was how the ST operated with carte blanche. How could they have done so without attracting the attention of the police? Edin Hamzic put it bluntly to me in April 2006, in his threat “our friends at the Met”.

I had assured him I would expose the front companies used by the Insight Team. Completely illegal paper companies set up by the ST and run out of the Wapping HQ. One such was the ‘Natural Travel Company’ rumbled by the Premier Inn on Dukes Road in London on 19 April 2002.

The Guardian reported on the employment tribunal but since then nothing. Davies and Leigh did not pursue Connett for his story and made no attempt to expose the deep corruption at the ST. John Witherow must have been delighted.

Why did the lefties bible ignore the corruption? Did The Guardian raise more than a word on the corruption in Operation Motorman? It was about protecting a sister broadsheet newspaper, rampant nepotism, and the insular press at large. A conspiracy of silence.

The now laughable ‘paper of record’ saw its Insight Team closed down directly by Rupert Murdoch. The ostensible excuse was “cost cutting” but in real terms it was about face saving. Murdoch did not close down Insight because they had done wrong but because they had been caught doing it…

The Guardian boys and girls were content to let sleeping dogs lie. “Lie” and “dogs” being the operative in the News International kennel.

Their “friends at the Met” taking bribes from The Sun and NOTW showed no interest in enforcing the law. I refuse to accept any theory that The Times and Sunday Times did not also bribe “our friends at the Met”.

The entire NI camp was in the bribery and corruption business aka power politics and big business. The police of course are nothing more than their muscle to beat the sometimes rebellious plebs into submission.

The crimes of the ST rival those of the NOTW but in different ways. Has anyone heard of the NOTW operating behind front companies? And how did the ST acquire the expertise to create front companies? These matters are not taught to journalism students…

The requisite professional knowledge came from spooks and the police. The spooks helped the ST create the front companies and the police overlooked the criminal enterprise of the ST. Everyone got their share of the pie.

When I contacted The Guardian in 2005/2006 about police corruption and News International, they did not want to know. The same is true of the Daily Telegraph newsdesk and Sue Reid at the Daily Mail. Those ‘fearless’ Fleet Street ‘warriors’ could not recoil in cowardice fast enough.

The Met showed no interest in the matter either… “our friends at the Met” did the job they were paid to do and continue to do it. Why?

The stench of MI5 and MI6 primacy. In July last year Nick Clegg warned on Sky News of “senior British Intelligence officers on the payroll of News International” but The Guardian ignored him.

Judge Leveson has also ignored Nick Clegg and the self-proclaimed freedom fighter Tom Watson MP – in bed with The Guardian – does not dare to touch the matter. The stench of fear seeps through their firewall of silence with alarming ease.

When The Guardian ran into trouble with the Met over the assisted journalism between Amelia Hill and SOCA cop Dave Cook; The Sunday Times was first to offer support to The Guardian and they accepted it with glee. Friends again? On the contrary, their friendship never broke down in the first place.

David Leigh asked me for evidence of corruption by the ST. I showed him some material pertaining to the illegal front companies but he refused to investigate any further. It is important to note that Leigh did not challenge my evidence, he did not say it was invalid in any way. He simply went quiet and shirked away from battle.

So much for the ‘campaigning’ Guardian out to purify the press in the public interest.

At least many people now realise that the whole Hackgate firestorm was a blaze in an outdoor shed owned by the Establishment. When they saw the flames spreading to the house, they called in the fire brigade and the Leveson ‘inquiry’ was born.

As for The Guardian… The smoke is now billowing back on them from a fire they claim to have started. Perhaps that is only just.

Nick Davies chose the title of his book very carefully ‘Flat Earth News’. So flat in fact the corruption of the ST will never be exposed from under the flat earth heaped on it by The Guardian….

Channel 4 documentary COPPERS has sparked a wave of controversy and public complaints. The Notts Police Authority are thought to be “disturbed” by some of the badly behaved officers on the show.

It has been announced Notts Police Professional Standards Directorate PSD will investigate two of the officers featured in the documentary. This is mere public relations waffle and the errant cops have nothing to worry about.

In 2010, Chief Supt. Brian Beasley was brought in to investigate my complaint against PC Philip England. The complaint was issued through the IPCC. They sent the complaint to the PSD. It was clear from the outset PC England would be ‘exonerated’.

Insp Yvonne Dales said everything would be fair and impartial… I almost burst my sides laughing. Chief Supt. Beasley was brought in to rubber stamp the whitewash and he did just as I predicted…

Beasley claimed PC England’s colleague PC Parsons had backed his “not me guv” story to the PSD. Another neatly sealed can of whitewash the police thought but the can soon sprung a leak.

I appealed to the IPCC who found that PC Parsons had NOT backed PC England’s story in the slighest and in fact remained neutral on the matter. This proved Chief Supt. Beasley concocted a false story but the IPCC recommended no action against him or PC England.

The IPCC whitewash brigade can always be relied on to back the police. PC England was ‘exonerated’ on the basis of the alleged statement of PC Parsons but he did not back his colleague at all.

The public can have no faith in the police or IPCC in the one-sided police complaints farce. This is the same IPCC that said Mark Duggan was shot dead by gun-toting cops because he shot a cop and a bullet lodge in his radio. It was pure fiction of course, as always, and the country erupted with days of rioting.

Back in Nottingham, police stations were attacked with bricks and petrol bombs. In the Coppers show, one cop wondered if he was “justified” in mowing down several youths who threw a brick at his patrol car. Potentially killing or maiming the youths for throwing a brick. Is this Israel or apartheid South Africa?

In the first episode, two weeks ago a female detective said “I’m just gutted we have to abide by the law” but only when the cameras are rolling…

The cops in the Channel 4 documentary have nothing to worry about from their PSD and the IPCC whitewash brigade. It is little wonder the public have little faith in the ‘police’ and the gap is getting wider by the day.

Theresa May visited Nottingham in March 2011 and gave Notts Police a “clean bill of health” and her humiliation is now complete. This was after I exposed deep corruption in D ‘dirty’ Division, now renamed South Nottinghamshire…

In 1999, I made a complaint against a PC Andrew Sinnamon. An Inspector Peter Kerfoot was brought in to ‘investigate’ and in a telephone call he told me “you’re only doing this for fuckin’ money you cunt”.

Naturally, I complained and Kerfoot denied it all. He submitted a statement saying 12 officers were stood by his side during the telephone call. A waste of manpower at best but pure fiction in real terms. I asked to see the office diary for that day to ascertain who these 12 lying scroats were but Kerfoot was then dismissed from ‘investigating’ the complaint.

My complaint against PC Sinnamon was upheld and he was given a disciplinary warning. He resigned from Notts Police after 30 days and went to “work in security” in Spain… Don’t they all lol.

The complaint against PC Sinnamon was only upheld because of one man, Inspector Lloyd Shaw who was about to retire. His last good deed as a copper got rid of Sinnamon and put Kerfoot back in his box.

But it should be noted Kerfoot is still employed by Notts Police PSD as a ‘civilian worker’. The PSD wanted to send Kerfoot to take a statement from me in relation to the complaint against PC England… Clearly learned nothing since 1999 and the ‘police’ have nothing but contempt for the public.

In March last year, I survived an attempted stabbing in Nottingham. This was reported to Central Police Station in Nottingham but PC Anthony Wilde refuses to so much as conduct a routine stop and search for concealed weapons on my attacker Shaun Breach.

When pressed for an explanation as to why PC Wilde refuses to conduct the stop and search, he refused to explain his deliberate inaction. Of course it’s all revenge for having humiliated the Notts Police crime gang so many times. And they know the completely corrupt IPCC whitewash brigade will back them.

But reform is coming the hard way and it is coming sooner than the dirty plods could ever imagine…

The Sun newspaper had an appalling [tacit] policy of printing celebrity stories that had no basis in fact and did not care if the material was true.

Thomas Whitaker was a prime example when I contacted him with celebrity tips passed to me by a trusted source and friend at top London hotels.

Working freelance at Covent Garden and Charlotte Street hotels and occasional evenings at the Electrik Cinema in Notting Hill, my source had excellent inside knowledge of when celebs and stars would be putting in an appearance.

These were ideal photo opportunities and passing tips on celebs to the Red Tops was a winner for everyone involved. No one was being subjected to unwanted press attention.

We passed tips to the 3am Girls at the Daily Mirror and Tom Whitaker at The Sun. We approached Big Pictures Photo and got a foot in the door there as well.

It was fun, no serious risk involved and nothing illegal or unethical. But then Tom Whitaker showed us the real face of News International and it was typically mind-numbing…

Claudia Schiffer, newly pregnant, was scheduled to turn up at the Electrik Cinema for Jude Law’s Film Club night. The event was for the select few and the supermodel was hot property.

We had no story to tell, it was a photo opportunity pure and simple. Whitaker agreed to pay £300 for the tip, which was good money and better pay than offered by The Sun’s rivals. Fair enough, nothing to worry about.

But Whitaker’s next comment set the alarm bells ringing. He was tired of just getting photo opportunities and wanted a story to go with the snaps.

“If you can think of a story by this time tomorrow give me a call and it’ll be £1,500 instead of £300.” I assured him I could not ‘think of a story’ or more to the point concoct one. “Sure but if you can give me call yeah”.

I did not call him back because I could not think of a story to go with the snaps of Claudia Schiffer. I was being asked to fabricate a fable for money and pervert my principles. I did not offer anymore tips to The Sun.

Now, if I had Johann Hari’s penchant for the fable and no morality to go with it, I would have made stacks of cash but the path of principles is lined with poverty…

In fairness to Whitaker, he was under enormous pressure to get the job done by any means necessary. Thinking of a story to go with the snaps was part of the picture at NI but it was not for me.

Many journalists have been ‘transformed’ and corrupted by the Murdoch mafia. I was on good terms with Dan Evans at the Sunday Mirror until he went to work for the News of the World. He became a different person.

The same was true of Tom Wells when he worked for the Sunday Mercury in Birmingham. The moment he moved on to The Sun, a giant chip grew on his shoulder. We did not correspond for long afterwards…

The Sun claims “8 million readers a day” according to Dominic Mohan at the Leveson Inquiry. So if you can “think of a story” give him a call. There might just be £1,500 in it for you but creative ‘thinking’ is a prerequisite….
